Christmas e-card
December 23, 2017
Greetings!
It’s been a challenging but rewarding past 6 months
of ministry at the Pan de Vida orphanage. The lives of kids, who have been the
victims of neglect or abuse, are being changed for good.
"Sam" (not real name) is one such example of a changed life. When Sam first arrived at the orphanage around 8 years ago, he behaved very poorly and got into trouble often. He didn't even believe in God. But things started changing once God answered his prayers. Now Sam desires to know God more and to serve Him. Sam is trustworthy and very helpful around the orphanage. He is a positive role model to the younger kids.
There are others like him that have been transformed due to the hearing of the Gospel and seeing it being applied by the volunteers at the orphanage. And there are many kids that are still in a process of healing. Many of you have been part of this eternal impact
with your prayers and financial support. It means a lot to us. Thank you!
We
still need people to partner with us to cover our monthly living expenses. Please
consider giving to us financially to continue with our ministry. We serve as un-paid
volunteers.
We wish you all a merry Christmas!
Sincerely,
The Ottosons
-Bryan, Brenda,
Ariadne, Alex and Brianna

Taxes! Each year many folks are looking to give end-of-year gifts as a possible way to help reduce
their tax liability. If you are one of those
folks, here are some things to keep in mind! Contributions mailed to CTEN
must be postmarked no later than December 31st. Online credit
card donations must be posted through the CTEN website no later than December
31st. CTEN is also able to receive contributions of stocks,
bonds and mutual funds, which are then sold and the proceeds
provided to the missionaries. Remember that any year-end gifts of stocks,
bonds or mutual funds must be received in CTEN’s brokerage account by
December 31st. Call 800-872-5404 for more information.
