Service Project
Saturday, January 20, 2018
Members of the Levi youth group, a few adult leaders and I (Bryan) spent the morning on a service project in a nearby city. The Levi group consists of kids from Pan de Vida that are 15 and older.
We went to San Jose El Alto to help 2 needy families that live in a very poor part of town.
Half the group painted a house and clear away trash in the yard.
The others did landscaping for another family.
Also, the kids brought items to donate to the families.
Jose and his wife, who are missionaries that live there, welcomed us and help coordinate the work.
It was a great opportunity for some of the teens from Pan de Vida to help others outside of the orphanage.
