We are getting new tires!

Wow!

Brenda and I are blown away by the support we have received for new tires.

God has answered prayer and exceeded our expectations.  We praise Him for the provision through certain individuals.

The rapid response was overwhelming!

The goal of reaching $510 within 2 weeks was not only met, but the total giving went above what we were asking for!

And it was done in just 2 days!  

The night before I announced our need for new tires, I met with the junior high kids at Pan de Vida in our bi-weekly Bible study and prayer time.

 I really wasn’t in the mood to go to it. I had experienced some discouragement and I felt tempted not to go. But, something told me I should go anyway. I’m glad I went. We spent a good time in prayer. I’m sure God was working not only on the kids hearts but mine as well. During that time, I had mentioned our need for tires and we prayed together about it.  
Now, I am eager and excited to share with them how the prayer was answered in a big way! I know it will be a big encouragement to them when they hear how God answers prayer.

It’s also an encouragement to us.

So, a big thank you to those who stepped up to help us. And thank you for the prayers!

PS. As for now, we are planning to use the extra money that we received toward car maintenance and repair.  The trip to Texas next month will put a lot of wear and tear on the car.  We will continue to pray about it and be open to God’s leading as to what do with it.
