Alex recovery update

Alex is healthy and well. He also recieved a big blessing.

No surfing for a while

He had his last follow up appointment with his surgeon 3 days ago.  It marked exactly 30 days since his emergency operation to remove his burst appendix. He doctor said he has had an excellent recovery.

 Alex still needs to wear the bandage wrap around his abdomen for 1 more week and continue to refrain from strenuous activity for 2 more weeks.  

With the exception of the restrictions, Alex is back to normal. 

During his recovery time, he read a lot of books, including all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia.

Alex loves to read. 

Brenda and I are grateful to God for Alex’s recovery as well as for His provision for all of Alex medical’s expenses.  The Lord is Provider! 

Thanks again to everyone who prayed for Alex and helped us financially in the past month. We won’t forget it.

 

We have more good news! 

 

Within 2 weeks of Alex’s operation, we found out that Alex won some money for college!

 

 I completely forgot that I had entered him in the contest. Alex has been blessed!  Praise God!  Romans 8:28.
