The school at the Pan de Vida orphanage resumed classes from its Christmas break.
A ceremony was held to honor both the Mexican flag and the Christian flag. (The following photos were taken 2 weeks later at the 2nd flag ceremony. I didn't take pictures at the first one but I wanted to show everyone what it looked like).
The 3rd graders were excited to be back in Brenda's class.
Bryan's devotional class with the high students began a study of Proverbs 8. The kids are learning about the call of wisdom versus the call of folly.
The kids in Bryan's class are continuing their learning of adjectives and the Present Progressive (i.e. -ing verbs). Also, they are learning the song I Will Call Upon the Lord. The idea to learn this song was inspired by the singing of the Spanish version in church service.

Brianna (lower right) likes to hang out with her mom and the 3rd graders.
