Sunday School appreciation dinner
Sunday, January 14, 2018
A special dinner was held at the Pan de Vida orphanage to honor the work of all the volunteer Sunday School teachers.
Bryan's sister Ginger and her husband Enrique, the church pastor, prepared a great meal.
Sunday school classes resumed after the Christmas season.
The teen group has been learning some of the many names of God. The purpose of the study is for the kids to learn the various attributes of God and how they can personally reach out to Him in any circumstance of their lives.
Currently, there are 4 teachers for this group. All 4 teach on a rotation. Bryan is one of the teachers of this group.
Recently, the group started a study on Jehovah Rohi (Hebrew for "The LORD our Shepherd"). Today, Duane,a long-time volunteer at Pan de Vida, taught part 2 of this study. Bryan will be teaching part 3 next Sunday.
