Speaking at a church
Sunday, March 25, 2018
I (Bryan) had the privilege of speaking to the members of Family of God church in Queretaro.
Brenda and Brianna were sitting up front
Pastor Edgar invited me to talk to his congregation about our ministry at the orphanage Pan De Vida. Edgar also teaches at Pan de Vida. Our paths have crossed due to our work there and we easily became friends.
I was initially hesitant to speak at his church. I had never been to his church before and I wasn't sure if I had enough to say for 45 minutes. After much thought and prayer I decided to accept the invitation. I'm glad I did. It was a great opportunity to share what we are doing at the orphanage and what is required when responding to God's call to serve.
The people at Family of God church were very welcoming to my family and I. They invited us to have lunch with them in their church building after the service. Also, they graciously took up an offering for us. I was blown away!
This was the first time I have ever spoke the entire time during a church service. And in Spanish. I am grateful to God for the opportunity and for the words to say. The church members were very attentive especially with listening to my foreign accent.

Congratulations Bryan. I'm sure the Spirit spoke into the hearts & minds of some in the congregation about serving the Lord.
