High school English update
November 1,2019
As of October 14, the high school students at Pan de Vida are taking their English classes online. They answer questions, complete activities, and record themsleves speaking in English. They will be doing this until the end of the year.
With the exception of the traditional English class, the high school students take all of their classes online. The students participate in an accelerated high school curriculum where they take 1 course at a time for 4 weeks straight. They get a break for a week before moving onto the next subject. They have 2 courses of English back to back. The traditional English class has been put on hold until the students are done with the online portion.
The English teachers (Mitch, Kris and I) check their work before its submitted. The students are doing well. They work hard to finish their work and they only have minor errors that need to be corrected. They have no problems understanding the grammar or vocabulary.
