Ariadne and Brianna made a book for Alex to cheer
him up in the hospital.

Alex’s recovery wasn’t doing so well. He could hardly
eat. Alex had nausea and diarrhea. He was feeling very weak and sleeping most
of the day.
A change
However, there was a change last Friday.
However, there was a change last Friday.
The doctor prescribed Alex a different antibiotic,
which resulted in a remarkable improvement. He was no longer dizzy and not making so many trips
to the bathroom. Also, Alex was able to eat more food. His intestine started
moving again! Even Alex’s dry humor came back. In fact, Alex was so much better,
that the doctor allowed him to be discharged that night!
Alex was happy to go home. His sisters were excited to
see him again.

More alive than dead
Today, Alex feels more alive than dead. He has more energy.
Alex is able to both sit up and stand for longer periods of time. We are grateful
to God for Alex’s improvement and for your prayers.

Prayer
still needed
Alex still needs continued prayer for his continued recovery. He will have a follow up appointment
with his doctor around April 20. Hopefully, he will have his stitches removed at
that time.
Also, we need prayer for the funds to cover Alex’s medical treatment. Based on our current ministry
funding, we can’t afford this expense.
The total cost for Alex’s medical care was $3,462.63 American
dollars.
As of April
11, we have received $373.57 in donations.
Please also
consider helping us financially. The charges need to be paid in a month.
